LG steps up the battle against mobile phone misuse with a mobile driving simulator that allows users to experience the dangersof driving and texting in total safety. Users drive along a virtual highway where they are evaluated on how safely they drivewithout texting compared to their driving performance while texting. During the test drive they receive text messages and areasked to respond with short messages. The simulator measures and compares in real-time the performance of the driver withoutand with texting and reveals the increase in unsafe driving acts that inevitably occurs while driving with distractions.
